This past May our church had the pleasure of hearing Dr. Layton Talbert exposite the Word in six messages, most from the book of Job. Dr. Talbert is the author of Not By Chance, a book that I believe must be one of the best contemporary books for lay readers on the Doctrine of Providence. Layton is preparing an eventually-to-be-published volume on the book of Job. The messages are available here. The first two messages cover Ecclesiastes and thoughts from the Wisdom Literature. The remaining four messages are from the book of Job. I highly reccommend these messages.

Thanks for making these available. I’ve had a chance to listen to more MP3s recently, and I’ve been reminded of how rich the church is to have these resources (and so many other Bible study tools) so readily available. Praise the Lord.
